Everyone at Bushey Rangers would like to say a huge thank you to Ronnie Shinkwin who plays for our under 10 team. Over the last few weeks Ronnie has been raising money through the go fund me site by carrying out a series of 10 challenges over 10 days as well as having a cake sale which also raised funds.
Ronnie wanted to raise money for both Bushey Rangers Football and boxing clubs both of which he is a member of who have both been hit hard with the recent closure.
I have been contacted today by Ronnies mum who has confirmed that he has raised just under £1600 which he will split between the football and boxing club.
This is an unbelievable feat and we can not thank him enough for all his efforts and is a fantastic gesture to us at the club.
It is brilliant to see that one of our own would think of us at this time and we hope that he will be back down at the club very soon when we hopefully get back to normal.
